The Laboratory of Zooarchaeology, led by Prof. Lidar Sapir-Hen of the Department Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures is situated at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History. Lab's research focuses on the study of ancient animal remains from the Prehistoric and Historic periods in the southern Levant.
